Skoda could officially unveil the Superb facelift at the Auto Expo 2020 in February, followed by the launch in May
rnThe Czech automaker plans to launch a range of new products in the Indian market, along with facelift operations for some of its current models as well. This includes a facelift for Skoda Superb, which was confirmed for launch in May 2020 in India by Zac Hollis, Director of Sales, Services and Marketing, Skoda India, via Twitter.rnrnThe next Skoda Superb facelift spied with a group of BS6 emissions attached in the country a few weeks ago, which revealed a lot of information about the car. The impressive facelift will get elegant LED matrix headlights, new alloy wheels, and old-style taillights. The brand logo made the way to write SKODA letters on the back door. The stretched sedan model will retain its silhouette, but the size of the car is expected to grow compared to the current model offered in the market. In addition, the vehicle safety function and menu will be updated with new equipment, including a 360-degree camera, three-zone climate control, parking assistance, cruise control prediction, multi-track emergency assistance, front assistance with pedestrian protection and more.rnrn 2020 Skoda Superb FaceliftrnrnAs of now, Skoda Superb is presented in India with a 2.0-liter diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 174.5 hp and a torque of 350 Nm, along with a 1.8-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine, which provides 177.4 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The engines are synchronized with a six-speed manual transmission or a DSG. The two engines currently on display comply with BS4, and Skoda will likely stop the diesel engine group in a Superb position once BS6 standards are mandatory on April 1, 2020. However, the Czech automaker will introduce the new one.
