The first product of the Mahindra-Ford partnership will arrive in the second half of 2021. The company will showcase the upcoming SUV in India in mid-2021, while it is expected to launch in late 2021 or early 2022. The new model will be based on a single-wheel drive platform. Which also supports the new Mahindra XUV500.
The new Ford C-SUV will be offered with two engine options: a 2.0-liter MStallion petrol 4-cylinder and a 2.2-liter turbocharger. While the first engine is capable of producing 190 hp and 330 Nm of torque, the diesel version produces around 180 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Manual and automatic versions will be offered. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems will be offered.

Renault Kiger


Renault will introduce the compact Kiger SUV in the first quarter of 2021. The new Kiger will build on the CMF-A platform of the Renault-Nissan alliance, which also supports the Nissan Magnite and Renault Triber. It will be equipped with a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine in naturally aspirated and turbo versions. While the first engine is good for 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque, the turbocharged engine delivers 99 hp and 160 Nm of torque. Options will include a 5-speed manual transmission and an X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission (1.0 liter gas turbo).

Hyundai AX1


Hyundai has started testing the new AX1 micro SUV in South Korea. The new AX1 is configured to be Hyundai's smaller and more affordable UV rays, and will primarily target developing countries, including India. The upcoming Hyundai AX1 will position itself ahead of the Suzuki Ignis Maruti and the upcoming Tata HBX micro SUV. Perhaps based on the K1 platform, the upcoming Hyundai AX1 can be powered by a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine with a capacity of 1.2 liters. While the i10 Nios is in operation, this engine produces 82 hp and 114 Nm of torque. The SUV could also receive the 1.1-liter Sentro engine that delivers 67 hp and 100 Nm of torque. Transmission options may include a 5-speed manual transmission and an option AMT transmission.

Hyundai 7-Seater Creta


Hyundai has begun testing the 7-seater version of the Creta SUV, which is rumored to be called the Alcazar. It will ride with a longer wheelbase of 20 mm, while the SUV will be increased in length by 30 mm to accommodate the third row of seats. The company will make some design changes and use 433 liters of trunk space to create space for the third row of seats. The upcoming SUV version will likely be offered with two engine options: a 113-hp turbo diesel 1.5-liter and a 1.4-liter turbo petrol with 138 hp. Manual and automatic gearbox options will be offered.

MG ZS Petrol


MG Motors will launch the petrol-powered version of the mid-size ZS SUV in the second quarter of 2021. The upcoming SUV in india will pit itself against the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The SUV was revealed at Auto Show 2020. To rank without Hector, the MG ZS is expected to be priced at around Rs 9 lakh to Rs 13 lakh.
MG Motors will launch a revamped version of the ZS SUV, which features a more premium design with chrome treatment. It will likely feature a new hexagonal grille with chrome trim, a new bumper and LED headlights with DRLs, new 17-inch LED taillights and alloy taillights. The SUV will offer class-leading comfort and convenience features, such as a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree camera and navigation system, digital controller, and technology. MG iSmart Connect, panoramic sunroof, air purifier, cruise control, electrically adjustable driver's seat, multifunction steering wheel and many more. The SUV will also see the debut of the 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which will deliver nearly 120 horsepower.

Skoda Vision IN


Skoda will launch the midsize SUV based on the Vision IN concept in the second quarter of 2021. The new model will mark the debut of the VW Group's MQB AO IN platform in India. This is basically the highly localized version of the MQB AO platform, which supports VW T-Cross, Skoda Kamiq and VW Polo inte
ational specifications. Probably priced at around Rs 9.5 to 15k, the new Skoda SUV will compete directly with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. In terms of proportions, the new Vision IN is 4,256 mm long, 1,589 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,671 mm.
The upcoming SUV in india will be powered by a 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine that produces 148 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The car will also feature a 1.0-liter, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 110 hp and 175 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.

Volkswagen Taigun


Volkswagen will launch the mid-size SUV Taigun in the country in mid-2021. Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020, the Taigun will be approximately 4.3 meters long and will be positioned in front of the Hyundai Creta. The new model will be based on the Volkswagen Group's MQB AO IN platform, which will also support the next-generation Volkswagen Vento sedan. The new model will come with several mode
features such as a large touch screen infotainment system, LED headlights with LED DRLs, LED fog lights, LED taillights, sunroof, 17-inch alloys, connected vehicle technology, etc.
VW Taigun will be offered with two engine options: a 1.5-liter turbo petrol with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a 6MT and a 6-speed automatic torque converter. While the first engine is good at 148 hp and 250 Nm of torque, the 1.0-liter engine produces 110 hp and 175 Nm of torque.
