Tata Signa 3118.T 3-Axle Heavy Truck With 31-Tonne GVW Launched In India

Tata Motors announced the launch of the new Signa truck in the Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M & HCV) segment. The automaker says it is India's first 3-axle rugged 6x2 truck with 31 GVW. Tata Signa 3118.T will be launched in phases in different states and markets in India. With the new Tata Signa 3118.T, the automaker also offers a range of value-added services under its Sampoorna Seva 2.0 initiative along with a standard 6-year / 6-kilometer warranty.rnrnAlso Read: Tata Motors collaborates with leading financial institutions to assist commercial vehicle customersrnrnTata's latest offering in the M & HCV segment comes in 24ft, 32ft in the iconic Signa with Lx and Cx versions and a soft-top variant. It is powered by a Cummins BS6 engine tuned to develop a maximum power of 183 hp against a maximum torque of 850 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed G950 transmission with heavy-duty axles.rnrnWith a certified load of more than 3,500 kg, the new Tata Signa 3118.T offers almost 45 percent of the net operating profit compared to a truck with a load of 28 tons.
