New to the update is the improved range of the Nexon EV Max, which exceeds the current certified range of 437 km by more than 10 miles. Now, the autonomy is 453 km with a full charge. Additionally, all Nexon EV Max owners can update their existing EV range with a software update by visiting authorized dealers beginning February 15, 2023.

The Nexon EV Max comes with a 40.5 kWh battery pack that powers the electric motors to produce 141 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The electric SUV also has four levels of regeneration mode and supports a 3.3 kW wall box and 7.2 kW AC charger.

Now this could be a strategic decision to take on the recently launched Mahindra XUV400 with a starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
