Porsche has unveiled the new 911 Carrera T with a sticker price of Rs 1.80 crore (ex showroom) along with Style Edition versions of the 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster priced at Rs 1.44 crore and Rs 1.48 crore (ex showroom), respectively.
The 911 Carrera T
The new 911 Carrera T features a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engine with 380 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a seven-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In particular, the two-seater coupe promises acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds (4.2 seconds with an eight-speed automatic transmission) and a top speed of 291 km / h.
The 911 Carrera T features a PASM sports suspension system with 10mm of lower ride height, a sports exhaust, and a Sports Chrono package on the base model. Additionally, it features a mechanical limited-slip differential on the 911 Carrera S with torque vectoring, along with 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels painted titanium gray. Porsche also modified the stabilizer bars and springs.
In addition, the Touring version foregoes the rear seats and uses less soundproofing, lighter glass and a battery to reduce weight. As a result, it is 35 kg lighter than the 911 Carrera. An eight-speed PDK transmission is available, and it comes with four-way adjustable sport plus seats and a GT sport steering wheel.
The front and rear badges, door decals, and exterior rearview mirrors are finished in Agate Grey, while the exhaust tips are glossy black. The interior is distinguished by matte and glossy black tones.
718 Cayman and 718 Boxster Style Editions
The Style Edition 718s is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. It is paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed automatic transmission that produces 295 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. Both can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds (4.7 seconds with the seven-speed PDK). Meanwhile, the maximum speed is 275 km / h, regardless of the gearbox.
The 718 versions feature the new Ruby Star Neo paint job, black exhaust pipes, bright silver Porsche lettering and 20-inch wheels from the 718 Spyder. Two contrasting combinations of black or white make these special edition models stand out. The package includes hood strips, door decals and the model name on the rear in white or black. The wheels have the same paint, too.
Inside, 718 models feature a black leather package with chalk-colored stitching. They also get illuminated door sills and the Porsche logo embroidered on the headrests. In addition to the cosmetic changes, Porsche has given Style Edition models additional features such as bi-xenon headlights, heated seats and steering wheels, and front and rear parking sensors, among other things.
