Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the latest iteration of the Dzire in India, with prices beginning at Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This revamped sub-four-metre sedan, which was introduced last week, recently achieved top ratings in the Global NCAP crash tests.
The fourth-generation Dzire features a new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine, available with both five-speed manual and AMT transmissions, delivering 80bhp and 112Nm of torque. Design-wise, the new Dzire sports a refreshed grille with horizontal slats, LED headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers, dual-tone alloy wheels, triangular LED taillight inserts, and a shark-fin antenna.
Inside, the 2024 Dzire boasts a segment-first electric sunroof, a dual-tone interior theme, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, rear AC vents, and automatic climate control.
