Maruti Suzuki has launched the Fronx Velocity Edition with minor cosmetic changes and new features. The carmaker now offers the special edition of the crossover across all variants, with prices starting from Rs 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Here you will find everything you need to know about this version that adds some exclusivity for buyers.
Fronx Velocity Edition will only be available through the Nexa series of outlets, like the standard Fronx. It can even be had on the base Sigma model, which has black and red trim on the front bumper, grille, headlights and wheel arches. Additionally, the Delta, Delta+ and Delta+ (O) variants feature red side bodywork, rear bumper skirts, rear spoiler extension, red ORVMs, door skins, illuminated door sills and red designer mats. The Delta+ Turbo, on the other hand, benefits from black seat covers and a carbon finish interior styling kit. Conversely, the Zeta and Alpha variants get Bordeaux-finish seat covers.
Engine options for the Fronx Velocity Edition
Fronx Velocity Edition was first launched in February earlier this year. Until recently it was only offered with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. However, the accessory-equipped Velocity Edition is now also available with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and CNG powertrain options.
