NEW DELHI: Kia Motors India launched the Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition on Thursday, to celebrate one year in the Indian market.
The Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition will be offered in three trims ranging between Rs 10.79 lakh - Rs 11.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Anniversary Edition will offer 2 petrol-based trims and one diesel-based trim.
For the Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition, Kia says the design is inspired by the Aurochs' large Eurasian bull, imparting a more muscular demeanor to the Sonet and is distinctively visible through the Aurochs-inspired front and rear skid plates with tangerine accents.
New elements include a tiger-nose grille with hot-stamped tangerine accents that give it a bold look. In addition, the new Sonet also features Aurochs side skid plates to provide the vehicle's bolder, and butch appeal to the vehicle along with side door garnish and center wheel caps in tangerine accent and anniversary edition emblem.
The Sonet First Anniversary Edition is available in four powertrain options, a 1.0 T-GDi petrol engine with Smartstream 6iMT and 7 DCT, and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine with 6MT (in WGT configuration) and 6AT (in VGT configuration).
The SUV looks bolder and more powerful with new color schemes available in four exterior colors: Aurora Black, White Pearl White, Steel Silver, and Graphite Grey.
