The Jaguar XE is the entry-level model of the top automaker. The premium carmaker has introduced the best features and elements of design from the F-Type sports car and the E-Pace models of the brand. The prices of the car will start at Rs 44.98 lakh.

The newly launched premium car has various new design elements such as the new mesh grille, narrower and sharper headlamps, and the bumpers have been redesigned as well. The features at the rear end of the car are the new LED taillamps and redesigned bumper along with a tweaked diffuser. The Jaguar XE has a set of new alloy wheels that have been styled elegantly that are 17 inches in size.
Interior features of the Jaguar XE
The Jaguar XE has a large infotainment touchscreen system in the center console. The multifunction steering wheel has been inspired by the all-electric I-Pace SUV. The pistol grip gear selector is almost the same as the one in the E-Pace and the F-Type. The cabin quality has also improved as the hard plastics have been replaced with higher-quality soft plastic. Jaguar XE has been equipped with safety features that include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors, front and rear parking sensors, hill start assist and traction control. Some of the other features include the dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and a 10.25-inch Touch Pro touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
Some more features of the Jaguar include the interactive driver display, air quality sensor, park assist, lane keep assist as well as driver condition monitor.
The Jaguar XE has the 2.0-liter Ingenium petrol and diesel engine options available. The petrol version gives 247bhp at 5500rpm and 365Nm of torque at 1500rpm. On the other hand, the diesel version gives 177bhp at 4000rpm and 430Nm of torque 1750rpm. The suspension of the new model is also new. The car has Eco, Comfort, Dynamic Rain, Ice, Snow driving modes. It will likely be assembled at JLR's plant in Pune, Maharashtra.
The new Jaguar XE has a lightweight design which helps in the reduction of fuel consumption and Carbon Dioxide emissions both. There has no been a compromise made on the durability of the car. This technology of reducing the weight helps with achieving the maximum speed up to 250 km per hour.
The All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) of Jaguar is basically a low-speed cruise control that helps in maintaining a steady slow speed in situations where there is low traction.
Jaguar XE is available in six color options including Fuji White, Caldera Red, Firenze Red Metallic, Portofino Blue Metallic, Eiger Grey Metallic, and Santorini Black Metallic.
