Hyundai Venue Teaser Shows Bold New Design Ahead of Launch

Hyundai Motor India has released the first official teaser of the all-new Hyundai Venue, which is slated for launch on 4 November 2025. The next-generation Venue SUV promises to usher in significant design upgrades and advanced features, reaffirming its position in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.

Major Design Upgrades on the New Venue

The teaser image reveals a completely redesigned front fascia inspired by Hyundai’s global design language. Notable design elements include:

  • Vertically stacked LED headlamps housed in a boxy housing
  • A full-width LED daytime running light (DRL) bar connecting the headlights
  • A new grille featuring an inverted L-shaped design
  • A revamped, chunkier bumper with a prominent silver skid plate

The side profile showcases reworked quarter panels that give the SUV an elongated stance, complemented by sharper cuts and creases along the door panels. The new Venue will also feature a fresh set of 5-spoke aero-style alloy wheels.

At the rear, the SUV receives connected LED tail lamps, a redesigned tailgate, and an updated bumper featuring a larger spoiler and C-shaped reflectors, enhancing its sporty and modern appearance.

Features and Interior Expectations

Though Hyundai has kept the interior details mostly under wraps, industry insiders expect a dual 12.3-inch curved screen setup combining the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system. The SUV is also rumored to offer a panoramic sunroof and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), potentially Level 2, elevating safety and convenience.

Powertrain and Pricing

The upcoming Venue is expected to continue its current engine lineup with:

  • 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol
  • 1.0-litre Turbo Petrol
  • 1.5-litre Diesel

Transmission options will likely include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT automatic, and possibly a 6-speed torque converter automatic for diesel variants.

The price is expected to range between ₹8 lakh and ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning the Venue against rivals like:

  • Tata Nexon
  • Maruti Suzuki Brezza
  • Mahindra XUV 3XO
  • Nissan Magnite
  • Renault Kiger
  • Citroen Basalt X

Conclusion

With its bold new design, updated features, and a competitive price range, the new Hyundai Venue is set to strengthen Hyundai’s foothold in India’s compact SUV market. The launch on November 4 will mark an important moment as buyers look for modern, feature-rich, and stylish SUVs, making the Venue an exciting contender this festive season.
