Hyundai reveals new Aura 2023; bookings officially open

Hyundai has unveiled the new Aura, just two hours after announcing the new Grand i10 Nios. Customers can book the new 2023 Aura at all Hyundai dealerships with an initial reservation amount of Rs 11,000. We expect the Korean brand to launch both cars at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023.

In terms of the exterior highlights, the 2023 Hyundai Aura now comes with a revised front grille, new body-color front and rear bumpers, LED DRLs integrated into the lower front bumper, shark fin antenna, new LED taillamps with a revised spoiler and projection headlamps. Now you also get a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels. The compact sedan now comes in six color options including Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night (New), Teal Blue, and Fiery Red.

Inside, the cabin comes packed with features like cruise control, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless phone charging, fully automatic climate control, voice recognition, and a smart key with start/stop. button, electrically adjustable ORVMS and automatic headlights.

The sedan is offered in three powertrain options including the 1.2-litre Kappa manual petrol, the 1.2-litre Kappa Smart Auto AMT petrol and the CNG-powered 1.2-litre Kappa petrol. Under the hood, the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine produces 82hp and 113.8Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol with CNG belts produces 68hp and 95.2Nm of torque.

In terms of safety, the Hyundai Aura comes loaded with side airbags, curtain airbags, TPMS, ESC, VSM, hill assist control, automatic headlights, and ISOFIX. Other than this, it also has ABD with EBD, burglar alarm, seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors, and speed sensing auto door lock.
