BS6 Hyundai Elantra diesel launched in India, price starts at Rs 18.70 lakh -Autonexa

Hyundai Motor India today launched a BS6 Hyundai Elantra diesel engine with a starting price of Rs 18.70 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The automaker also lowered BS6 Hyundai Elantra petrol prices, starting at Rs 17.60 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). 2020 Hyundai Elantra takes the likes of Skoda Octavia and Honda Civic.

The new Hyundai Elantra is available in the SX and SX (O) variants.

Hyundai Elantra 2020 presents the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design.

Hyundai Elantra is equipped with Blue Link technology that has 34 features.

The BS6 diesel engine that runs on Hyundai Elantra 2020 is the same 1.5-liter CRDi U2 unit that runs on Hyundai Creta 2020 and Hyundai Ve
a 2020. The factory produces 115PS and 250Nm of peak torque and has 6 speeds MT and 6 speeds AT. The 2020 Hyundai Elantra BS6 petrol engine is a 2.0-liter Nu unit that produces 152 horsepower and 192 Nm of peak torque and is offered with 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT.

The new Hyundai Elantra features the automaker's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design. Quad-width headlights with LED DRL lamps surround the chrome hex grille. On the back, you will find a set of LED taillights and bumpers in two colors. Features like the shark fin antenna and 16-inch metal wheels are also available. The cabin of the Hyundai Elantra 2020 is equipped with bells and whistles, such as the 10-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, tilt and telescopic steering, steering-mounted controls, automatic cruise control, and a slot entertainment system with 8-inch high-definition touch screen Electric ceiling. The car is also equipped with Blue Hyundai Link connectivity technology that has 34 features, 10 of which are specific to India.
