Hyundai Creta Facelift marked under 10 Lakhs

The Hyundai Creta was first introduced in the Indian market back in 2015. Three years later in 2018 (this year), the Creta got a facelift along with an array of new key features. Apart from an aggressive and bold front styling the Creta also got a front grille in cascaded style. It also features much-improved connectivity options, 6-way power driver seats, smart key bands, sliding front armrest and cruise control.rnrnThe petrol variant of the new Creta has a starting price of 9.44 lakhs to 13.5 lakhs approximately whereas the diesel variant’s price starts from 10 lakhs and goes up to 15 lakhs. The 1.6 petrol engine can generate 123 ps of power whereas the 1.6 CRDi diesel engine can churn out 128 ps of power. Both the diesel and the petrol variants feature 6-speed Manual Transmission along with 6-speed Automatic Transmission.rnrnTalking about the main exterior features, the car sports bi-functional projector headlamps with LED DRL and positioning lamps surrounding the fog lamps. The split tail lamps also got a makeover and front and rear bumpers now have dual tone paint. The front and rear skid plates have also been made more bold and stylish. As a part of the upgrade, Creta also got 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and a shark-fin antenna. There is also a glossy A-pillar on the top trims. For the pickier customer, Hyundai has now offered a variety of dual-tone paint options- Marina Blue and Passion orange; Passion Orange and Black. To liven up the cabin one can choose to have it in Tangerine Orange shade also. The Creta facelift will be offered in six different varieties- E, E+, S, SX, SX dual tone and the top end SX (O).rnrnThe interiors have also been upgraded and there is a smart electric sunroof now! The cruise control is smooth with smart keys and also the car sports a push button for starting the engine. The driver’s seat can have height adjustments and the rear seats have AC vents separately. There will be a larger 7-inch touchscreen system with audio and navigation support. It will support apps like Apple Carplay, Android and Mirror Link for connectivity inside the car.rnrnComing to the safety features of the car- Creta facelift comes with dual airbags and standard ABS while the top end model will have six airbags including side curtains. A few other safety additions include electronic stability control, rear sensors with a camera for parking assist, hill climb assist, static bending lights and ISOFIX child seat mounts.rnrnAccording to Y.K KOO- MD and CEO of Hyundai Motors India LTD- the new facelift Creta is destined to create benchmarks in the SUV segment. Its closest competitor would be Mahindra XUV 500 facelift, Renault Captur and even the Jeep Compass. Hyundai will be offering roadside assistance along with a warranty of 3 years despite unlimited kilometres of travel on this new car.
