New-gen Honda City 2020 to launch in India today: Here\'s what to expect

Honda will finally launch its new sedan Honda City 2020 in the Indian market on Wednesday (July 15). It was originally planned to go on sale in India earlier this year, but the Covid-19 pandemic threw a wrench in the original launch plans.rnrnThe fifth-generation Honda city 2020 has a long list of updates that have made it a safer, more feature-packed car.rnrnHonda city 2020 embraces a new design language and looks sleeker than ever. The front is inspired by the current generation Accord. Inside, you get an advanced 8.0-inch touchscreen, soft interior mood lighting at the front fulcrum, a pressure-sensitive AC disc with red/blue illumination, a 6.97-inch full-color TFT standard with meter compatibility G, Alexa and a Lane watch camera and more.rnrnIn terms of dimensions, it is claimed to be the longest car in its class at 4,549mm in length, 1,748mm in width, and 1,489mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,600 mm.rnrnhonda city 2020 honda city 2020rnrnIt's also interesting to note that the fifth-generation Honda city 2020 Sedan has received a five-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP. Certainly, this rating will help you gain more popularity among customers who highly prefer security.rnrnUnder the hood, the new city will have 1.5-liter petrol plus a 1.5-liter diesel option. It goes without saying that both engines will be BS-VI compliant.rnrnAs the generation changed, Honda managed to give the city a new life. It will be a direct competition for players like Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna.rnrnAs for pricing, I expected the new Honda City to launch in a price range of ₹10 lakh to ₹14 lakh.
