Honda City finally acquired a BS6-compatible engine in the form of a 1.5-liter VTEC petrol unit. This is the third Honda model in India to offer a gasoline engine that meets BS6 after Civic and CR-V.
- Honda City 1.5-liter diesel engine option remains the BS4 unit and is only available with a six-speed manual transmission. Its infotainment system has been updated with a 7.0-inch touch screen. Digipad 2.0 features a satellite navigation system, direct traffic support via a USB Wi-Fi receiver, voice commands and a smartphone connection with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It is offered from the 5th variant and beyond.
