Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Model Launched in India, Priced At ₹ 65,920

Bajaj Auto announced the launch of the new Platina 110 ABS model in India. The Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Model is priced at Rs 65,930 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the only bike in its class at the moment to offer anti-lock braking technology. The motorcycle comes with single-channel ABS technology and the system is mated to 240mm front disc brakes. Bajaj Auto recently launched the Platina 100 ES or Electric Starter, calling it the least expensive motorcycle in its class for an automatic starting system.rn

Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Model Features

rnCurrently, in India, ABS is only mandatory on two-wheelers with a displacement of 125cc or more. Therefore, the introduction of ABS technology with a 110cc motorcycle is definitely a welcome addition to this segment. The anti-lock braking system, or ABS, comes with an electronic control unit that monitors wheel speed in the event of sudden or severe braking and, through a feedback loop, releases and reapplies the brakes, faster than any human intervention. By doing so, the system prevents the wheel from "locking", which could otherwise lead to loss of control or skidding.rnrnBajaj Platina 110 ABS Model Bajaj Platina 110 ABS ModelrnrnIn addition to new safety technology, the new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS also comes equipped with the ComforTec Package that includes padded seats and Nitrox spring suspension, as well as tubeless tyres for better ride and comfort. The 2021 Platina 110 ABS is offered in three colors: Charcoal Black, Volcanic Red, and Beach Blue.rn
