TVS Jupiter gets more fuel-efficient: Launched with ‘intelliGO’ tech offering these benefits

TVS Motor Company has introduced a new technology that will help consumers improve the fuel efficiency of their vehicles. This technology essentially shuts off the engine automatically during long stopover scenarios, such as traffic lights and other pauses. After that, you can start the engine again by simply tu
ing the throttle. The company announced the debut of this technology with the Jupiter automatic scooter. The BS6 TVS Jupiter comes with a 110 cc engine, and with that, the company is already claiming 15 percent better mileage as well as better cycling, refinement, and durability.

The engine is good at producing 7.3 horsepower and 8.4 Nm of torque. In terms of major features, the scooter comes with an LED headlight, a 2-liter glove box, a portable charger, and a large under-seat storage space of 21 liters. The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with TVS intelliGO is now available at Rs 72,347 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the aforementioned option is available in two color options, Starlight Blue and Royal Wine.
