KAW Veloce Motors to bring Brixton Motorcycles Austria to India; to set up production facility in Maharashtra

New Delhi: KAW Veloce Motors Pvt. Limited. Ltd., India, part of the KAW Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Brixton Motorcycles Austria, a brand of Austrian family business KSR Group GmbH, to bring a range of motorcycles to the Indian market.

The companies also plan to set up a manufacturing plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

Launch 4 models: Brixton Motorcycles Austria and KAW Veloce Motors plan to introduce four Brixton models in India for the upcoming festive season. They are: Crossfire 500X, Crossfire 500XC, Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X.

These models embody Brixton's unique selling points, including Retro-inspired designs, affordability, urban riding suitability and customization potential. Brixton's emphasis on stylish design, competitive pricing and urban practicality sets it apart from others in the Indian market, appealing to a broad range of riders, the company said.

Two-phase expansion

Looking ahead, Brixton Motorcycles Austria and KAW Veloce Motors in India have outlined a two-phase expansion plan. In the first phase, they are setting up a manufacturing facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, with an annual production capacity of over 40,000 units. The aim is to offer Brixton's current range of motorcycles, with displacements ranging from 500 cc to 1200 cc. The second phase will see the joint development of products for the Indian market at the Austrian Design Center in Brixton, along with the expansion of manufacturing capabilities.

Brixton Motorcycles Austria and KAW Veloce Motors will unveil the first set of Brixton Motorcycles Austria in India this festive season, hinting at a new era of urban mobility with MotoHaus-inspired outlets.
