Audi Q6 etron begins testing in India; launch likely soon

Audi has started testing the new Q6 e-tron in the country ahead of its launch, which could take place by the end of the current calendar year. The spy shots reveal a single unit of the test car that was completely uncamouflaged.

The Audi Q6 e-tron in question is a left-hand drive unit and compared to the model sold globally, it gets minor visual differences including silver inserts on the front and rear bumpers and a set of new alloy wheels.

A few notable design elements of the new Q6 e-tron include matrix LED headlights, white grille, OLED taillights, roof rails, shark fin antenna, integrated spoiler with high-mounted stop lamp and an LED light bar on the tailgate.

Inside, the 2024 Q6 e-tron features an 11.9-inch driver display, known as a virtual cockpit in Audi terminology, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.9 inches for the front passenger and a new steering wheel with touch screen. Controls, augmented head-up display and a three-tone interior theme.

Under the hood, the Audi Q6 e-tron is powered by a 100 kWh battery coupled to two electric motors. The battery, which can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes with the help of a 270 kW charger, can achieve a range of up to 625 kilometers on a single full charge.
