The mysterious natural phenomenon occurs for a limited number of days before, after, and during the full moon, as the moonlight forms a long, narrow path across the ocean's surface. With this theme in mind, Lexus has refreshed the sedan's cabin with intricately woven silver strings of Nishijin brocade, while the platinum sheet metal represents Haku or the bright light of the moon.rnrn

Visually, the Lexus LS 500h Nishijin gets a new exterior color, Gin-ei Luster, which is a new shade of silver that reacts differently to ambient light.
