Tata Altroz partners with Google to launch the Tata Altroz Voice BoT

Tata Motors has announced the launching of the Tata Altroz Voice BoT in collaboration with Google. It is a personalized voice experience that uses the Google Assistant in the Tata Altroz. The Tata Altroz Voice BoT can be paired with the car vie the Android Auto or Apple Car Play. It helps to deliver a complete voice-enabled discovery of the car.rnrnThe Tata Altroz Voice BoT has been designed to help the customers throughout their online buying process and helps to enhance their in-car connected experience. Through the voice BoT feature, the car owner can access the various product features and other specifications, in an interactive way.rnrnThe basic requirement is a smartphone with a Google Assistant. All you need to do is say ‘Ok Google, Talk to Tata Altroz’. Doing this will activate the BoT and it asks a question about the car.rnrn“Users these days go through the process of purchasing done by investigating the various aspects of the product themselves. We understand that from our long partnership with Google that this process is basically aided via online research, which is mostly done on the mobile devices," said Mr. Mayank Pareek, the  President of the Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors.rnrn"Catering to these needs of the customers, we are delighted to launch the Tata Altroz Voice BoT, it is one of the best initiatives that will help in enhancing the overall purchasing experience of the users. We are hoping that this class- defining service will be appreciated and will aid in giving a convenient buying experience to the customers," he further said in a statement.rnrnMr Nikhil Bansal, the Head of Industry at Auto, Google India, said in a statement "We are happy to work with Tata Motors in building a voice experience that will help the users to learn about the Tata Altroz car, the features, and helps to book a test drive. We are looking forward to implementing the Google Assistant and use it in more helpful ways."rnrnTata Altroz is the first premium hatchback of Tata and will face competition from the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Honda Jazz. It will be the first car of the company that will be BS6 compliant with petrol and diesel engines both. It has been scheduled to launch by January 2020.rnrnThe Tata Altroz showcases the signature Tata Motors design. Some of the top features of the Altroz will include a dual chamber projector headlamps with LED DRLs, R16 dual-tone alloy wheels, piano black finish on the ORVMs (outside rearview mirror), the rear door handles, integrated spoiler, split tail lamp design, and a black roof that is optional. Tata Altroz will be available in four different variants – Tata Altroz XE, Tata Altroz XM, Tata Altroz XT, and Tata Altroz XZ.rnrnTata Altroz will be available in two engine options, a 1.2-liter Revotron BS-VI petrol engine with a maximum power of 86 hp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 113 Nm at 3300 rpm.
