The entry-level Skoda Rapid Rider is reintroduced to the market at Rs.7.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Skoda temporarily paused reservations for this Skoda rapid rider in July 2020 and later removed it from the list from the official website due to stronger demand than expected. Skoda Auto India brand manager Zac Hollis revealed in a subsequent tweet in September 2020 that the model was practically unavailable for this year.

Despite the high price of the Skoda Rapid Rider Edition, there are no changes to the feature list. The 2021 Skoda Rapid Rider continues with features like halogen headlights, LED brake light, 16-inch steel wheels with black hoods and, and a Skoda 2-DIN audio player with front and rear speakers each. Climatronic automatic air conditioning, a rear windshield defroster, driver and front passenger airbags, and Parktronic ABS rear sensors.

At the heart of the Skoda Rapid Rider 2021 is a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine that generates 110 hp of peak power and 175 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The Rider variant is available only with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Skoda Auto India claims 18.97 kmpl for the Rapid 1.0 TSI MT.

Skoda has also revised prices for some variants of Rapid. Manual and automatic Rapid Rider Plus is now being priced at Rs 8.19 lakh and Rs.9.9 lakh, respectively, of another Rs 20,000. Likewise, the prices of the Rapid Ambition automatic and the Rapid Onyx automatic also raised the prices of Rs 20,000 to Rs 11.49 lakh and Rs 11.69 lakh respectively (all prices ex-showroom, India).
