The 1.3L petrol engine comes with a turbocharger, direct injection, and dual variable valve timing. At the show, Renault confirmed the specifications of the engine, which was tuned to carry 153 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Note that the Nissan Kicks get 153 hp and 254 Nm of maximum torque. The manufacturer has also confirmed that the new engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT X-Tronic automatic transmission.
