New Delhi: MG Motor India has signed a memorandum of understanding with Zeon Electric Private Limited to enhance the existing electric vehicle charging infrastructure. By tying up with the sixth charging point operator (CPO), MG has taken another step towards building a more accessible and efficient EV ecosystem in India. This will help meet the country's widespread need for good charging infrastructure to support the growing fleet of electric vehicles.
This partnership will focus on strengthening the EV ecosystem in key locations, including highways, cities and MG dealerships in Karnataka, Kerala, AP, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and more.
MG customers will get exclusive offers to load at Zeon kiosks. The linked charging stations, with seamless integration with the MyMG app, will be visible and displayed on the iSmart infotainment screens. More than 300 Zeon AC and DC chargers at key locations will be added to MG's existing network of 12,000 chargers to date.
