MG Comet EV was officially launched in the country on Wednesday with an introductory price of Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Comet EV is available in two variants. MG Motor India targets buyers in urban centers with its Comet EV and highlights its range and compact dimensions to highlight the practical aspect of the model.
Comet EV is MG Motor India's second all-electric model after the ZS EV. However, it is somewhat similar to the ZS EV and is positioned in the entry-level EV segment in the country that currently boasts the Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3. The Comet EV has a two-door and four-seat configuration, plus specs that MG says will make it ideal for daily commutes around town.
