Maserati has introduced the Grecale SUV in India. Grecale is anticipated to revive the sales figures that the Italian brand has been lacking with the addition of two new dealerships. Shipping is offered and an electric version will be accessible in the near future.

Maserati has officially introduced the Grecale in India. Positioned below the flagship Levante, the Grecale has been on sale internationally since 2022 and is now officially on its way to India, at a time when the Italian manufacturer intends to expand its presence in the country. With two new dealerships added in Delhi and Bangalore, after the single one in Mumbai, the Grecale will be immediately available as a direct import from Italy. There is also a fully electric version of the Grecale Folgore that is expected to arrive soon.
The Grecale will come in three options - GT, Modena, and Trofeo.The first two use a 2.0 liter four-cylinder mild hybrid petrol with 300 hp and 330 hp respectively, the Trofeo gets the Nettuno V6 which is also offered in the MC20. The 3.0-liter V6 produces 530 hp and 620 Nm, which is good enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. All versions get an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission as standard. It also comes equipped with air suspension, electronic limited slip differential, VDCM active chassis control and advanced sound insulation.
Based on FCA's new Giorgio platform, which it shares with the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and the fifth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Grecale measures 4,846 x 1,948 x 1,670 mm and has a wheelbase of 2,901 mm. It shares the new design language seen across the current Maserati range and has a 580-litre boot.
In a modern style, the cabin of this five-seater Italian car features a head-up display and a fully digital, configurable 12.3-inch driver display. It also features a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen combined with an 8.8-inch digital display in the lower half of the dashboard that controls many other vehicle functions. With real wood, carbon fiber and aluminum inserts throughout the cabin, the Grecale also comes with a 1,200-watt, 21-speaker 3D sound system.
Like all Maseratis, the Grecale also gets customization options from the Italian brand and all these customization options (catalog or special) are offered here in India too. Maserati sees growing potential for affluent Indian customers, those with high net worth. With India's extensive background in luxury cars, Maserati sees the Indian market as a key location.And while Maserati is not a direct brand under the Stellantis umbrella here in India, Maserati uses the conglomerate for its Indian operations.
