Maruti Suzuki Fronx Turbo Velocity Edition introduced in India

Maruti Suzuki expands its Bronx lineup with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx Turbo Velocity Edition which features 16 exterior and interior accessories. The turbo-petrol unit is exclusive to this edition. It remains the only car in the range with a turbo petrol engine.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Fronx Turbo Velocity variant. The company has further expanded the model range, which recently became the fastest car to reach 1,000,000 sales in India. The Turbo Velocity version can be had for an additional Rs 43,000 when you opt for the Delta+, Zeta, or Alpha variants.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Turbo Velocity Edition: What's new?

While the car remains mechanically unchanged, the new Fronx now features several exterior and interior improvements. The package includes a total of 16 exterior and interior accessories, including a gray and black exterior design package, as well as door skins, ORVM covers, headlight garnishes, body side moldings, illuminated door, and door sill protectors, specially designed red dashboard mat, 3D trunk mat, spoiler extension, wheel arch trim, front grille trim, and carbon finish interior package.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Turbo Velocity Edition: Powertrain options

The Fronex gets two familiar engine options, including a 1.2-litre petrol engine with 89bhp and 113Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.

Additionally, there is a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 99bhp and 148Nm of torque, available with a choice of five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. In particular, the Turbo Velocity version is combined exclusively with the turbo-petrol unit. In addition, it is worth noting that the Fronx is the only car in the company's range to feature a turbo-petrol unit.
