It's been more than four months since the five-door Jimny made its debut at the Auto Expo 2023. Bookings for the off-road-focused SUV began in January and now the carmaker has announced that it has amassed more than 30,000 bookings.
Maruti Jimny engine
Maruti Jimny is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine. It produces 103 hp and 134 Nm and can be mated to a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic. The SUV comes equipped with an all-wheel drive system as standard.
Maruti Jimny colours
Maruti Jimny is offered in five monochrome and two-tone colors. Kinetic Yellow and Sizzling Red can be paired with a teal black roof, while Granite Gray, Arctic White, Nexa Blue, and Bluish Black color options are available with a body-color roof.
Maruti Jimny prices in India and launch date
Pricing for this competitor of Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha will be announced in the first week of June. We expect it to have a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
