- Maruti Ciaz gets three two-tone colors across manual and automatic versions
- ESP and Hill Control are now standard
Maruti Suzuki has launched the two-tone variants of the Ciaz sedan in the country, with prices starting at Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to the new color options, the model also has additional safety features as standard across the range.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz customers can now choose from three two-tone options in addition to the seven mono paint jobs that were already available. The former includes: Pearl Metallic Opulent Red with a black roof, Pearl Metallic Grandeur Gray with a black roof, and Dignity Brown with a black roof. Features such as Hill Start Assist and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) are now available across the variant line-up.
The Maruti Ciaz is powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol engine making 103bhp and 138Nm of torque, mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed torque converter automatic unit. The MT and AT versions are claimed to return 20.65 kilometers per second and 20.04 kilometers per second, respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Shashank Srivastava, Maruti Suzuki India's Senior Managing Director of Marketing and Sales, said: "We are delighted to introduce the new Ciaz, which introduces three new two-color options and additional safety features. The Ciaz has been a favorite choice among our customers and has achieved remarkable success, with eight years in the market. With the new avatar, we aim to strengthen our position in the premium midsize sedan segment.
