Mahindra has launched XUV300 T-GDi at Rs 10.35 lakh (All-India ex-showroom). It is available in three variants with three color options and one powertrain combination. This vehicle was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Show as the XUV300 Sportz Concept car.
The 1.2-litre mStallion T-GDi petrol engine produces 128 hp / 250 Nm and is only offered with a six-speed manual transmission. In comparison, the standard turbocharged petrol produces 109 hp/200 Nm and can be had in a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
On the outside, the XUV300 T-GDi gets three new two-tone paint paint schemes blazing bronze, Pearl White and Napolitan Black. Mahindra also added the TGDi logo and red accents as part of the exterior update. Finally, this car debuted in the XUV300 range with the new Mahindra Dual Peak logo.
Inside, the Mahindra XUV300 T-GDi features an all-black paint scheme, leather seats, leather-wrapped steering and gear knob. They also added sport pedals as part of the updates. The XUV300 Turbosport is a competitor to the Hyundai Venue N Line and Kia Sonet 1.0-liter turbo.
Commenting on the launch, R Velusamy, Head of Automotive Technology and Product Development, Mahindra & Mahindra said: "The new TurboSport™ series powered by the TGDi powertrain was developed for thrill seekers seeking the ultimate driving experience. The XUV300 TGDi is designed to offer an advantage in performance, safety, comfort and style for customers seeking an adrenaline-fueled SUV." The XUV300 TGDi will be available for test drive, reservation and delivery beginning October 10 throughout India.
