Kia India Extends Its Warranty Program to 7 Years for All Models

Kia India has announced a major update to its ownership experience with the introduction of a seven‑year extended warranty program. This initiative covers all Kia models, including the popular Seltos, Sonet, Syros, and Carens, and is applicable to both new and existing customers. The move showcases Kia’s focus on building long‑term customer trust while reducing the overall cost of ownership.

Broader Coverage and Flexible Options

Earlier, Kia’s extended warranty program was limited to five years. Under the revised structure, customers can now opt for 5+2 years (upgrade plan) or the full seven‑year plan right from the date of delivery.

  • Existing customers with a five‑year warranty can upgrade to the 5+2 plan starting at ₹32,170 (excluding taxes).
  • New buyers can purchase the seven‑year extended warranty for ₹47,249 (excluding taxes).
  • The offer is available at authorised Kia dealerships across India.

This move ensures that Kia owners enjoy an effortless ownership experience supported by wide service coverage and increased vehicle reliability.

Benefits for Buyers

The extended warranty is designed to enhance customer confidence and long‑term satisfaction. Key benefits include:

  • Comprehensive protection against unexpected repairs
  • Peace of mind for up to seven years from delivery
  • Higher resale value due to verified service history
  • Nationwide support through Kia’s authorised dealer and service network
  • Flexible upgrade options for current customers

Official Statement

Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Kia India, commented:

“By extending our warranty coverage up to seven years, we reaffirm our confidence in the durability and quality of our products. This initiative is designed to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure complete peace of mind through our strong service network.”
