Isuzu Motors India Tops as Leading Commercial Vehicle Exporter in FY2024–25

In a remarkable achievement, Isuzu Motors India (IMI) has emerged as India’s top exporter of commercial vehicles for the financial year 2024-25. The company successfully shipped 20,312 units, marking a 24% increase over the previous year's total of 16,329 units. This outstanding performance has not only placed Isuzu ahead of its competitors in the commercial vehicle segment but has also solidified its position as a key player in the global automotive industry.

The world-class Andhra Pradesh Sri City manufacturing plant is the secret behind Isuzu's remarkable export performance. This left-hand as well as right-hand drive car manufacturing facility manufactures vehicles that are exported to many parts of Asia and the Middle East, including Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.

The plant has just marked a milestone with the production of its 100,000th vehicle, highlighting the plant as a pillar of Isuzu's global manufacturing strategy.

Each vehicle that rolls off the production line at Sri City is built to meet international standards, ensuring that Isuzu’s commercial vehicles are as reliable and efficient as possible.

Rajesh Mittal's Vision for Global Manufacturing

Speaking about this achievement, Rajesh Mittal, President & Managing Director of Isuzu Motors India, stated that this milestone reflects the strength of Isuzu's global manufacturing philosophy, known as Isuzu Monozukuri. Mittal added that every vehicle manufactured in India follows the same high standards that characterize the Isuzu brand globally. He also attributed the success to the skilled workforce at the Sri City plant, whose commitment and skills are instrumental in delivering cars that are ready for international markets.
