The Korean brand has confirmed that the pricing for the facelifted Hyundai Creta will be revealed on January 16, 2024. The facelifted mid-size SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 19.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will continue to rival the likes of Kia Seltos and Skoda Kushaq. Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and other mid-sized SUVs.
Hyundai Creta facelift: new exterior details
Hyundai continues to provide details about the updated Creta, releasing sketches that confirm what we've already seen from the model in the leaked images. The Creta facelift features a completely new face that suits the newer Hyundai models and gives a more upright and muscular look to the SUV. Naturally, there's plenty of all-LED lighting, including a full-width LED light bar up front with inverted L-shaped elements at the edges and an LED light bar connecting the split rear light setup. The graphics confirm the leaked images of the Creta being updated with new alloy wheels, although they appear to be 17-inch units, not 18-inch ones.
Hyundai Creta facelift: interior
Hyundai has also made significant updates to the interior of the new Hyundai Creta facelift 2024. There are two connected 10.25-inch displays, changes to the dashboard and air conditioning vent layout, and a host of new features. Amenities on the top trims of the facelifted Creta include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, and a Level 2 ADAS suite that is said to have 19 functions. 360-degree cameras, blind spot monitoring systems, and others.
Hyundai Creta facelift: engines
While the facelifted Creta will retain the 1.5-litre 115bhp petrol and diesel engines, with its automatic and manual gearbox options, the SUV will get a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 160bhp. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission will be standard on this unit. As previously revealed, when bookings open, the facelifted Creta will be available in seven models. Deliveries are expected to begin later this month.
