Daimler to enlarge BS-VI BharatBenz portfolio with 8 new launches

New Delhi: Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) on Wednesday launched eight new products in its BharatBenz range of commercial vehicles including six trucks and two buses. All of these new vehicles are equipped with the latest user-centric design elements and features, the company said in a statement.rnrnDaimler's Indian subsidiary has introduced six new trucks called the BSafe Express (Reefer Vaccine Transport Truck), 1917R, 4228R Tanker, 1015R +, 42T M-Cab, and 2,828 construction vehicles. The company said the two new BharatBenz buses to hit the road are the 1017 variant with a wide body with a capacity of up to 50 seats and the available 1624 chassis with equivalent suspension.rnrnAdditionally, COVID-19 prevention features are available across the range, including infection-resistant cloth seats, safety kits, and mist sterilizers, DICV added.rnrnSatyakam Arya, MD, and CEO, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, said, “In today’s rapidly-changing environment, it is vital to meet the dynamic needs of society.
