Bosch invests Rs. 800 crores to transform its Bengaluru location into smart campus

A global technology and services provider Bosch has invested Rs. 800 crores to upgrade its campus in Adugodi, Bengaluru, to Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), the "Bosch Smart Campus", said the Wednesday senior executive of the company.rnrnThis will be the company's largest technical campus outside of Europe, showcasing its digital use cases and likely to have the second-highest number of Bosch employees in the world, Soumitra Bhattacharya, CEO of Bosch Ltd and regional director of Bosch Group in India, said.rnrn"In our bosch smart campus here in Adugodi on 75 acres we are investing more than INR 800 crore to make it one of the smartest campuses," he told a virtual conference. "This is going to be one of the largest tech centers that we have in the world and likely to be the largest outside Europe,"rnrnThe German auto components manufacturer employs 31,500 employees and 18,000 engineers at 7 locations in India, representing the largest Bosch R&D workforce outside of Germany.rnrn"This is going to house, very likely, the second-highest number of Bosch employees in the world... Already we house more than 3,000 software engineers.
