- BMW India discreetly drives a new X5 model
- New variant becomes the highest specification variant in the X5 line-up
BMW India has discreetly introduced a new variant to the X5 range, known as the xDrive 30d M Sport. The new variant, priced at Rs 97.90 lakh (ex-showroom), becomes the new top-spec variant in the SUV lineup.
Under the hood, the BMW X5 is still powered by the xDrive 30 M Sport with a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder diesel engine producing 262 hp and 620 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels through the xDrive system.
Compared to the SportX Plus model located above, the BMW X5 xDrive 30d M Sport has additional features in the form of paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, launch control function, two-axle adaptive air suspension, electric tailgate, BMW Laserlight headlights LED, comfortable Front passenger seats, M-spec leather steering wheel, Travel & Comfort system, BMW display switch, HUD, 16-speaker Harman Kardon source music system, 360-degree camera, new interior trim, upholstery leather and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Another feature of the exterior bodywork of the BMW X5 xDrive 30d M Sport is the M Sport styling package which includes items such as the M-spec front apron, side skirts, body colored wheel arch rims, brake calipers in M-spec blue, rear diffuser, M Sport-spec car key, M Sport logo on sidewall, new tail pipes.
