Bentley has launched a hybrid version of the Flying Spur in India at a price of Rs. 5.25 Crore (ex-showroom). The luxury sedan will be sold in the country through Exclusive Motors, the official partner of the brand in India.
In terms of styling and design, the front fascia of the Flying Spur gets a dark-tinted matrix grille, distinctive circular LED headlamps with crystal-shaped daytime running lights, square LED taillights and 22-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. On the equipment front, it gets a 12.3-inch entertainment screen, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lights, and a 21-channel premium audio system.
Being a Bentley, one gets a lot of customization options to choose from. This includes a wide range of more than 60 exterior paint shades, including special options such as Mulliner and a custom paint job. As for the interior, customers can choose from 15 leather colours, eight dashboard veneers, contrast stitching and piping for the seat upholstery, 3D leather door panels and diamond-quilted seats.
Under the skin, the Flying Spur Hybrid gets a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine coupled with an electric motor, resulting in a combined power of 536 PS and 750 Nm of torque. As a result, the luxury sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290 km/h. Transmission duties are performed by an eight-speed automatic unit. It is worth noting that this model is the most fuel-efficient car under the brand’s umbrella, with a range of up to 800 kilometers.
