MG Motor India launched the new Hector and Hector Plus facelift at Auto Expo 2023. The SUV get comprehensive updates and now the pricing has been announced. The 2023 MG Hector facelift starts at Rs14.73 lakh while the Hector Plus variant starts at Rs 20.80 lakh. All prices are are ex-showroom India.
The MG Hector facelift comes with cosmetic upgrades including a new chrome grille. The bumper has been redesigned for the same and gets revised skid plates. The model also gets a new Dune Brown color scheme. Changes to the rear include a new illuminated light stripe, while shedding the Internet Inside badge.
The cabin undergoes major changes with the new white and black color scheme. A larger infotainment system with a 14-inch touchscreen takes center stage and introduces new features. Other updates include new voice commands for ambient lighting, a new gear stick, and an electronic parking brake. The big upgrade though is the addition of ADAS Level 2, which brings a host of active and passive safety features such as lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and high beam assist and more.
Powertrain options remain the same with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 1.5-litre hybrid petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. The updated Hector range has already arrived at dealerships and deliveries will start soon.
