Triumph Speedmaster BS6 Launched In India; Prices Start At ₹ 11.34 Lakh

Triumph Motorcycles India launched the BS6 Bonneville Triumph Speedmaster in India, at 11.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Jet Black and Cobalt Blue color options are 11.34 lakh, while the Fusion White version with Phantom Black and hand-drawn fonts costs 11.64 lakh. Cobalt blue is a new color option for the 2020 model. Pricing is similar to BS4, although we believe it is an introductory price and the company is likely to increase prices in the near future. Regardless of the BS6 compliant engine, all the features and specifications of the Bonneville triumph Speedmaster remain the same. In India, the triumph Speedmaster competes with the Harley-Davidson Custom 1200.rnrnThe triumph Speedmaster continues with a 1,200 cc "high torque" liquid-cooled parallel engine that produces 78 hp at 6,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 107 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Compared to the BS4 model, the power increases by 2 hp, and the torque increases by 1 Nm. The motorcycle has ABS, traction control, cruise control, and cable traction. The corded throttle offers two riding modes: rain and road, both modes provide maximum power, but with a slightly smooth throttle response in rain mode for driving in slippery conditions.rnrnTriumph Speedmaster Triumph SpeedmasterrnrnHowever, the triumph Speedmaster has twin 310mm discs on the front wheel that are supported by a dual-piston Brembo caliper, while the rear has a single 255mm disc with Nissin calipers. At the front, the bike has 41mm Kayaba forks with 90mm of movement, and at the rear, there is a Kayaba mono-shock, which provides 72mm of travel.
