MG launches Womentorship initiative to encourage social women entrepreneurs

rnAmong the five social entrepreneurs women chosen: Smita Dugar, Bharti Trivedi, Jabeen Jambughodawala, Phoolbasan Bai Yadav, and Rupali Saini. Smita Dujar brought her design and craft know-how to the marginalized segment and expanded her reach from one village to 30 villages and 1,500 artisans. Bharti Trivedi, a teacher, has distributed menstrual hygiene kits to 20,000 girls across the country so far.rnrnJabeen Jambughodawala provided training and livelihoods to more than 1,500 tribal women in eastern Gujarat. Phoolbasan Bai Yadav has empowered women through agriculture, dairy, and incense sticks making in a remote area of Chhattisgarh.
