Honda Hawk 11 cafe racer patented in India - Autonexa

The HondaHawk 11 cafe racer has been patented in India. It's currently only available in the Japanese market and here's what we know about Honda's new retro offering.

The Hawk 11 has completely neo-retro bodywork with its round LED headlight neatly hidden within the Monza fairing. It features low clip-on handlebars that aid in the sporty riding position. The latter is complemented by a pair of rear passenger footrests for a fully tucked-in position. Overall, the Hawk 11 seems quite neatly put together.

It uses the same engine as the Africa Twin: a 1,082cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin rated at 102PS and 104Nm. That's a marginal bump over the ADV Twin's power figures. Honda offers the Hawk 11 with a six-speed gearbox, or DCT. It features a single-pod LCD screen that houses the speedometer, odometer, gear position indicator, fuel level bars, and more. Honda has it suspended on USD front forks and a single-shock setup, while the braking hardware consists of front and rear discs with dual-channel ABS. The setup is mounted on 17-inch alloys wrapped in 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres.

So far, Honda has only patented the Hawk 11 for India. This could be for the sake of reserving the name with no concrete intention for a launch. For reference, it is priced at JPY 13,97,000 (approximately Rs 8.67 lakh sans taxes).
