Maruti Suzuki cars are known for offering respectable mileage and the Brezza comes with mild hybrid technology. The petrol-only Brezza with a manual transmission claims 20.15 kilometers per liter of fuel. This means that someone with a monthly driving figure of about 1,000 km would buy about 50 liters of fuel. At INR 96.72 per liter (Delhi rate), this is an expenditure of around INR 4,800 per month. By comparison, the Brezza CNG claims a range of 25.50 kilometers per kilogram of fuel. Running 1,000 km per month and CNG at Rs 79.56 per kilo (Delhi rate), a person will spend about INR 3,100 every month.

As with CNG vehicles of all makes, the more a vehicle is driven, the better the cost economy. Also note that the above gas and CNG mileage is what the company claims for the Brezza and is certified under ideal conditions. In the real world, the numbers are likely to be lower and depend on many factors such as driving style, traffic, air conditioning and more.
