Bavarian automaker BMW has set the stage to launch of the 2023 BMW X7 facelift in India on December 10, 2022. The facelift of the X7 will include several significant changes over its predecessor. Meanwhile, BMW will also offer an updated M340i xDrive and a new XM alongside the X7.
This mid-life facelift brings radical changes to the exterior of the 2023 BMW X7 facelift. First, the interface is inspired by the new generation 7 Series and i7, which feature a split headlight configuration. In addition, the SUV has slimmer taillights, a new set of alloy wheels in sizes from 21 inches to 23 inches, and redesigned front and rear bumpers.
Additionally, the X7's interior benefits from a reworked instrument panel with a new one-piece curved display unit. This system consists of a 12.3-inch driver information display and a 14.9-inch touch-screen infotainment system equipped with the latest eighth-generation BMW iDrive operating system. The cabin also features high-quality upholstery in Sensafin vegan leather or genuine Merino leather.
In terms of features, this BMW comes with all the bells and whistles, such as the BMW digital key, 5-zone climate control, 1,475-watt Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, heated and cooled seats and cup holders, a head-up display, and bars Active balancing, rear-wheel steering, advanced driver assistance systems, park assist, xDrive all-wheel drive, etc.
The X7 Facelift is available in 3.0-liter V6 petrol and diesel engine options with 48V mild hybrid functions in Western markets. The model destined for India is likely to get the same updated engines. The M60i xDrive version also got a new 4.4-liter V8 and could come here too. Upon arrival, the new BMW X7 will compete with the Land Rover Discovery, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q8 and Porsche Cayenne in the Indian market.
