New Delhi: Zen Mobility, an emerging Indian electric vehicle OEM startup, has launched two new variants of Zen Micro Pod, called Micro Pod ThermoFlex and Micro Pod LoadMax, priced at INR 2.25 lakh each. These new offerings represent advancements in light mobility, providing specialized solutions for temperature-sensitive cargo with flexible financing options and cutting-edge technology.
The Micro Pod LoadMax variant has a spacious box with a capacity of approximately 50 cubic feet. It is designed for handling large e-commerce shipments and deliveries of devices and other bulky items. On the other hand, the ThermoFlex Micro Pod acts as a mobile refrigerator. It specifically deals with the transportation of frozen products and fresh products such as fruits, vegetables and dairy products, guaranteeing a constant cold chain.
Both variants come with flexible financing options including finance, lease, and rental plans. This variety aims to cater to diverse customer needs and enhance accessibility, according to the company's press release.
These vehicles are equipped with the latest technologies such as telematics, IoT integration, geo-fencing with remote vehicle locking, trip data monitoring and battery state of charge (SOC) tracking. They have been optimized through extensive customer feedback and trials involving leading e-commerce and grocery companies.
The ThermoFlex Micro Pod is ideally suited for transporting food, vegetables, dairy products and medications such as vaccines. Meanwhile, Micro Pod LoadMax is ideal for e-commerce logistics, distributor-to-retailer distribution models, fast-moving consumer goods sectors, and other applications requiring high shipping capacity.

Zen ThermoFlex and LoadMax offer exceptional utility with a maximum payload of 150kg. This exceeds the carrying capacity of conventional two-wheeled vehicles by 2.5 times. It operates with minimal operating costs as it consumes only 4 units of electricity and requires approximately 2 hours to charge. With lightweight technology, these vehicles provide efficient performance with lower battery costs and lower delivery costs.
Rigorous testing of over 150,000 kilometers in various terrain and weather conditions has proven the exceptional durability of Zen ThermoFlex and LoadMax.
