TVS iQube ST 5.1 kWh Launched at Rs 1.85 Lakh, Introduces More Affordable Variants

TVS Motor has fulfilled its announcement made back in May 2022 by officially launching the premium iQube ST electric scooter. Priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the iQube ST stands out with its top-of-the-line features and capabilities, making it the most advanced model in the iQube lineup. Notably, this scooter boasts the largest battery among electric scooters available in India today.

The iQube ST is equipped with a 5.1 kWh battery pack, offering a substantial increase in capacity compared to its predecessor, the iQube S 3.4 kWh. Despite not qualifying for subsidies under the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme, the iQube ST's superior battery capacity and enhanced performance justify its price point. However, for customers who pre-booked the iQube ST before July 15, 2022, and maintained their orders, TVS is offering an additional loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000, reducing the scooter's price to Rs 1.75 lakh.

Interestingly, TVS has introduced two variants of the iQube ST, differing primarily in battery capacity. The more affordable variant features a 3.4 kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 1.55 lakh. On the other hand, the higher-end variant comes with a 5.1 kWh battery, offering a real-world range of up to 150 kilometers—an impressive 50 kilometers more than its counterpart. Both variants are paired with a 950-watt charger, with the ST 5.1 kWh taking approximately four hours and 18 minutes to charge from 0-80% and close to six hours for a full charge.

Adding to its allure, the iQube ST variants are equipped with a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen, a significant upgrade from the non-touch display on the iQube S model. The scooter is available in a range of vibrant color options, including Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Satin, Titanium Gray Matte, and Starlight Blue.

In addition to the iQube ST launch, TVS has also introduced a base iQube variant featuring a 2.2 kWh battery pack. Priced at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom, including EMPS subsidy), this entry-level variant offers a real-world range of up to 75 kilometers. The introductory offer brings the price down to Rs 1.07 lakh post the initial period. With quick charging capabilities, two attractive color choices, and reliable performance, the iQube 2.2 kWh variant presents a compelling option in the electric scooter segment.

Overall, these new additions to the iQube lineup showcase TVS Motor's commitment to advancing electric mobility in India while offering consumers a diverse range of options to suit their preferences and requirements.
