Tata Motors launches Tiago and Tigor iCNG AMT at INR 7.89 lakh and INR 8.84 lakh

New Delhi: Tata Motors, India's leading automobile manufacturer, has launched the Tiago and Tigor iCNG AMT, India's first AMT CNG vehicles.

With an impressive mileage of 28.06 km/kg, the cars will be available at a starting price of INR 7.89 lakh for the Tiago iCNG and INR 8.84 lakh for the Tigor iCNG (ex-showroom Delhi). In addition to the existing color palette, the company will introduce the new Tornado Blue color on the Tiago, Grassland Beige on the Tiago NRG, and Meteor Bronze on the Tigor.

Amit Kamat, Chief Business Officer, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited said, “CNG, known for its wide availability and accessibility, has gained significant acceptance over the years. Tata Motors has revolutionized the CNG segment with several innovations, including Industrial features such as twin-cylinder technology (which helps in not compromising on trunk space), advanced feature options, and direct start on CNG. In the last 24 months, we have sold more than 1.3 lakh CNG vehicles. In our endeavor to increase volumes and offer the best for our customers, we are now proud to launch Tiago and Tigor iCNG on AMT, introducing India to its first AMT CNG vehicles.

“Tata Motors has the broadest CNG portfolio, which includes Tiago, Tigor, Altroz and Bench. As one of the top two brands in the CNG market, we witnessed a remarkable growth of 67.9% in CNG sales in FY24 He added: “With the introduction of these smart, safe, and powerful twins, we are confident of further improving demand for this fuel option, thus continuing to maintain our growth momentum in passenger cars.”
