The Skoda Vision IN concept that attracted quite a few eyes last year at Auto Expo 2020 finally got a name this month. It is the next competitor to Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos and is called Skoda Kushaq. By sharing the latest update on the model, the company has confirmed that it will be in March that the Skoda Kushaq will make its world debut in India. The Skoda Kushaq is based on the MQB-IN platform and will have a wheelbase of 2,651 mm, which is 20 mm smaller compared to the wheelbase of the concept. Next, the Skoda Kushaq's advanced trim will also feature LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRL), and the tail and brake lights will also be equipped with efficient and responsive LED headlights. infotainment system with a 12.3-inch center touch screen. Other features include automatic climate control, sunroof, and ambient lighting, among others. Mechanically, Skoda Kushaq will have two turbocharged engine options: the 1.0-liter TSI three-cylinder engine found on the Polo and Rapid and the 1.5-liter TSI four-cylinder engine, seen in the Karoq. Three gearbox options will be offered, depending on the model, including a six-speed manual transmission, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a seven-speed DSG transmission.

Skoda Kushaq will be launched in India in March 2021 with an estimated price range of Rs. 10 lakh - Rs. 15 lakh.
