Maruti Suzuki recorded a 47.40 percent market share in November 2020 with sales of 1.35,775 cars
It's the last month of the year and manufacturers are starting to offer deep discounts to clear year-end inventories of their models at dealerships. Maruti Suzuki, India's largest automaker, offers deep discounts on almost all of its models. Sources have now revealed the exact features offered on Maruti cars at Arena dealerships.
Interested customers will look to make the most of these year-end discounts. Discounts are available in the form of cash discounts, corporate discounts, and exchange bonuses. Plus, additional benefits are offered through selected dealers nationwide. Let us have a look at what Maruti discounts for 2020.
Maruti discounts for 2020: S-Presso, Celerio, and Vitara Brezza
The biggest benefit is offered in the entry-level Maruti Suzuki S-Presso hatchback with a profit of Rs 52,000. This includes a prompt payment discount of Rs 20,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 7,000.
Also, by exchanging a used car less than 7 years old, consumers can get an additional Rs 20,000 as a trade bonus. Apart from these, selected dealers also offer retail discounts of up to Rs 5,000 on small SUVs.
A similar discount of up to Rs 52,000 is available for Celerio and Celerio X, which includes a prompt payment discount of Rs 25,000. Another entry-level slot, Alto, is offered with discounts of Rs 37,000 for December. This includes a cash discount of Rs 15,000, a corporate discount of Rs 7,000, and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.
Vitara Brezza is offered with total benefits of Rs 41,000, which includes a corporate discount of Rs 6,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. Some agents offer additional discounts of 15,000 rupees.
Swift, Eeco, and WagonR offer reasonable benefits
Maruti's best-selling car: Swift also offers a cumulative discount of up to Rs 37,000 with a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of up to Rs 7,000. At Swift, Maruti offers an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. Exactly similar numbers are also featured on the company truck Eeco offers with its five- and seven-seat derivatives.
The Indo-Japanese Wagon R long boy hatchback is offered with benefits of up to Rs 30,000 including a cash discount of Rs 8,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 7,000. When exchanging a car less than seven years old, consumers are entitled to a Rs 15,000 discount on a WagonR.
Among all the cars, the Ertiga comes in with the fewest benefits. The minivan is only offered with a cash discount of Rs 6,000.
Maruti Discounts for 2020: Tour Car Group
Not only commercial cars, but Maruti also offers discounts on all their Tour cars. These vehicles are only used by vehicle and fleet operators. These include the Tour M (Ertiga) with discounts of up to Rs 50,000 and the Tour S (Dzire) with discounts of up to Rs 54,000. A cumulative discount of Rs 44,000 is offered on Round H1 (High) and Round 5 (Eeco). The greatest benefits are offered on the Tour H2 (WagonR) at a cumulative discount of Rs 59,000.
