Mahindra has increased production of multiple vehicles in the recent past, allowing it to cater more customers in a shorter period of time. This is now further visible as the carmaker has witnessed a significant drop in open bookings.
As of July 2024, the Scorpio range has an open order reserve of 58,000 units, which is a decline of nearly 33 percent compared to the 86,000 orders it had in May. Notably, the company is yet to deliver more than 1.78 lakh units across its entire model range.
Meanwhile, the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic continue to register a combined new bookings of 12,000 per month. Apart from the Scorpio range, the Thar has also witnessed a decline in open orders of around 29 percent in the past few months, details of which are available on our website.
