List of car companies whose cars prices will increase from April 1

On April 1, 2021, the Indian auto sector will have a second price increase this year as we move into the new fiscal year. The first increase occurred earlier this year in January when all carmakers raised the prices of their cars. Automakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Nissan, Datsun, and Renault are preparing to increase the prices of their car ranges in India again, citing rising input costs as the main reason.rnrnListed below are the car companies whose car prices will increase from April 1, 2021.rn

Nissan

rnAll models in the Nissan India group, which currently includes Nissan Kicks and Nissan Magnite, will receive a price increase on April 1, 2021. At this point, Nissan has not yet revealed the price increase it plans to apply to its models. It is interesting to note that earlier this month Nissan Magnite prices increased by Rs. 30,000 for all turbocharged petrol.rn

Datsun

rnLike Nissan, the entire Datsun line-up will also receive a price increase, although the automaker has not announced how much the price increase will be. The Datsun lineup in India consists of Redigo, Go and Go +.rn

Maruti Suzuki

rnMaruti Suzuki will increase the pricing for its entire range anywhere from 1 to 6 percent over its current ex-showroom price. The rise will range from Rs. 5,000 to a maximum of Rs. 34,000, depending on the model of the car.rnrnCurrently, the Maruti Suzuki line-up in India consists of Alto, Baleno, Swift, Celerio, Ciaz, Dzire, Ertiga, Ignis, S-Cross, Eeco, S-Presso, Vitara Brezza, Wagon R and XL6.rn

Renault

rnRenault is also preparing to increase the prices of all of its offerings in our market, which include Duster, Kiger, Kwid, and Triber.
